The Telefónica UK Pension Plan Trustee Board

The Telefónica UK Pension Plan was set up in 2002 and since then it has been run by a Trustee Board. Up until autumn 2007, the Trustee Board had five Trustees Directors (‘Trustees’), three appointed by the Company and two appointed by the two trade unions recognised by the Company – Prospect and CWU.

From autumn 2007, the law changed so that at least one third of the Trustees had to be elected by the members of the Plan. The Company went a step further and from November 2007 half the Trustees are elected by the Plan members.

There are now six Trustees in total - three Company appointed and three member nominated. The current structure of the board can be found at the Who’s Who page.
