The Trustees

The Trustees of the Telefónica UK Pension Plan are responsible for the running of the plan. They are advised by independent professional advisors.

Kate Jarvis (Chair)
Legal Director, Telefónica Digital

Kate has been with Telefónica (and BT before) since 1999. She has been a Trustee of the Telefónica UK Pension Plan since April 2008 and became Chair from the start of 2009.

Cheryl Black
Trustee – Telefónica UK Pension Plan

Cheryl was Customer Service Director on the UK board of Telefónica from 2006 to 2011 and became an employer nominated Trustee of the Pension plan in 2007. She now advises a number of organizations on people and customer strategies and is a Non Executive Director of Southern Water Services Ltd. Cheryl is a Special Advisor to the Customer Contact Association (CCA) and a Vice President of the Institute of Customer Service.

Jeannie Drake
Trustee – Telefónica UK Pension Plan

Jeannie was previously a Deputy General Secretary with the Communication Workers Union and a member of the Board of the Pension Protection Fund. She has been a Trustee of the Telefónica UK Pension Plan since it began in July 2002 and was elected by members from November 2007.

Arvind Ladwa
NW Support Manager; Principle Officer, Connect

Arvind has been in Cellnet/Telefónica since 1989 carrying out a number of technical roles within the Technology Directorate. He has been a Trustee of the Telefónica UK Pension Plan since inception in July 2002, having been elected by the members from November 2007.

Gordon Millar
Head of Retail Transformation, Telefónica

Gordon has been in Cellnet/Telefónica since 1997 and is currently employed within the Retail team as Head of Retail Transformation. Gordon was elected as Trustee of the Plan in November 2007 following the initial member elections.

Adrian Gorham
General Manager Group & UK Fraud & Security

Adrian has been with Telefónica (and BT before) since 1978 and was nominated by the company as a Trustee of the Telefónica UK Pension Plan in 2010.

Robert Harwood (Secretary)
Company Secretary, Telefonica Europe plc

Robert manages Telefonica Europe's Company Secretariat and has been the Secretary to the Trustees of the Telefónica UK Pension Plan since it began in July 2002.
